Hey y'all, My name is Paul. I'm a 45yearold married father of four. I enjoy most types of motorsports, but four wheeling & dirt track stock cars top my list. I was bit by the Jeep bug a few years ago & ended up buying a 1990 red YJ 4.2L 5spd. A few years back, I had a 1978 Dodge Ramcharger 318 auto. I am looking forward to meeting with the local wheeling population & making new friends.

Hey, I'm Mike. I'm 22 and have had the jeep bug since about 15 or so. I like outdoors kinds of stuff; fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, wheeling (when I have something that works), and just having a good time. I have a '99 TJ that might end up for sale soon and have an '89 K5 that I am slowly putting together (just started). I have met a couple of 'yall and look forward to meeting some new people. As you already know Paul, count me in.

Hey Mike, aside from myself you are the first LWW member to go through the motions to officially become a member. Thank you, & welcome to LWW.

Count me in. Not a lot of time right now but I would like to join.

I am Jason. I live in Lake Wylie, but am moving to Matthews soon. Hope that doesnt present a problem Paul. Most of my 4x4 experience comes from Land Rovers but I recently purchased a 91 XJ with a 6.5 inch lift and 35's. I haven't wheeled it but one time so far, but it did great at Uhwarrie. I enjoy wheeling, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and anything else outdoors.

Hey Jason, welcome to the club. This is an E-club primarily, so available time & physical location aren't big factors here. I mostly started this to have one place for area wheelers to check in & see whats happening in this area. Any event such as wheeling (Invited) on private land, Trips, & meet-n-greets will be posted here for all to see. That way, if you can make the time to attend you'll at least know about it beforehand & not miss out on the opportunity. LWW is not brand specific. You don't really even need a vehicle to be in this club, & can even show up at events just to meet folks. Maybe ride along as a spotter. Anyway, its good to have you onboard! Paul.

Hey ya'll I'd love to become a member of LWW.. I'm from a little town called Brevard in WNC but I live in Charlotte now.. I'm already a member on JU, 49er Offroad, NC4X4, and HorsePower Addicts. I work at a car dealership back home and do maintenance at my apt. complex here in Charlotte... I'm also a full time student at UNCC and in my spare time I work on the Jeep(look at my new post in CCO). I'm on my 4th Jeep and its finnally getting to where I want it. Let me know how to become an official member and I'll be happy to join and help in any way I can...

Wink You have officially become a member!

Hey 99, by posting in this thread, you have done everything you need to become a member of Lake Wylie Wheelers. (It's kind of like Chinese handcuffs.) Welcome to the club! Good to have you. Check this sub forum for updates & such. Our club is young yet, but I think It'll grow quickly.

Sounds great Mike, but I cant commit to anything for the next four months. It's the busy season for me at work, & I may have to work weekends without prior notice. I have to work Sunday afternoon, & 1/2 day next weekend. The following weekend I wont find out until that Friday afternoon. If we could do something one weekend on short notice I.E. Friday evening I find I have Sunday off, maybe we could do it then. had an awesome time at your place, when I was over there BTW!
